Job Description:

  • Directly responsible for selling vehicles at customer satisfaction standards
  • Greet customers on sales floor and explain make, type and quality of vehicle desired
  • Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
  • Explains features and demonstrate operation of the vehicles in the showroom or on the road
  • Suggests optional equipment for customers to consider
  • Compute and quote sales price, taxes, trade-in allowance, license fees, discounts, and requirements for financing payments of vehicles on credit
  • Arrange for delivery and registration of sold vehicles
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers
  • Introduce customers to the service department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations
