What is ‘Official / Institutional Email Address’?

This is the Email address used by the college for all official / university communications. This Email address is ideally not owned by any individual working in the college.

No, the above fields are not mandatory, but it is highly recommended to provide these details

Why is the form not excepting the SAME mobile number & email address for both official and placement officer?

Taking into consideration the level of iteration of individuals working in the college, a decision has been taken to collect multiple / different email address & mobile number.

Who do I contact to resolve issues related to registration form / payment?

How does TASK acknowledge receipt of payment?

An Acknowledge will be sent all contact details provided during registration via Email and SMS. If the acknowledgement hasn’t been received within 10 mins of payment, please write an Email to registrations@tstask.com or call 040-48488275.

What is ‘Personal Email Address’?

This is the Email address used by you for all official / personal communications. This Email Address alone will used to send all communication from TASK.

What is ‘Institution Code’?

This is the code assigned to your college by the university it is affiliated to.

Does the ‘University Hall Ticket Number’ be entered in any prescribed format?

Please enter the Examination Hall Ticket number assigned to you by the university without any spaces(s) or special characters.

What is ‘Personal Mobile Number’?

This is the Mobile number used by you for all official / personal communications. This number alone will used to send all communication from TASK.

What is a LMS?

LMS is an acronym for Learning Management System. It is an automated system that can streamline the training registration process, allow access to training, help administrators manage training, and enable reporting on training initiatives

Why should I use the LMS?

The Learning Management System offers a consolidated training platform that benefits students in their career development and supports placement opportunities. Students would be able to access complete list of course titles, check pre-requisites for the class , objectives , course content , enroll for the class , track their personal learning curve , all on single platform. TASK would encourage students to use LMS as it would help the student during their placement drives

How do I access LMS?

Use the LMS link here or type the following web address in your web browser: https://www.task.telangana.gov.in/Events

How do I log on to the LMS?

Please log on to https://www.task.telangana.gov.in/lms

How do I change my LMS password?

LMS does not have a separate password. Your LMS password is same as TASK login password. If you wish to change your password, do so on the TASK portal and the same can be used on the LMS.

How do I search and register for a course?

You can search for courses available along with schedules on https://www.task.telangana.gov.in/Events

Is there a time limit for activity in the LMS system?

Yes, after30 minutes of inactivity, you will automatically be logged out. You will have to log in again with TASK log in credentials in order to continue.

Where can I see all the trainings available for enrollment?

Please visit https://www.task.telangana.gov.in/Events you can see all trainings scheduled on Training Calendar page .

How do I enroll myself to an available training?

Please visit ‘Training calendar’ on TASK Portal. Click on the course title that you would like enroll yourself, you will see a pop-up with further details. Verify all the details and click on “Click here to enroll” button underneath (with in the pop) to enroll. Note: Enrollment to a course title depends upon the criteria set at individual course level and the same can be checked before enrolment by clicking on the course name (highlighted in blue). Upon click a new page with all the required information on criteria, course content etc will be displayed

Why am I unable to see ‘click to enroll’ button for some trainings on the training calendar?

‘Click here to enroll’ button will not available in the following scenarios 1. Enrollment to the training is closed, as the available seats are full. 2. Enrollment to the training will be open only till 7 working days prior to the training start date. Ex: If trainingOracle Java Fundamentals was scheduled for 10th of June, then enrolment to the training will only be open till 7 working days prior to start date of the class. 3. When the training event is created on the calendar, however , if the enrollments are carried out manually basis on the request received from the college “click to enroll” button is disabled

Can I cancel my enrolment to training?

Yes. You can do so by going to the ‘Training calendar’ or ‘My Calendar’ on your LMS dashboard and click on the name of the training that you have previously enrolled to and in the pop-up you will see ‘Cancel enrollment’ button. Click on the button and your enrollment to that particular training will be cancelled. Note: Enrollment cancellation to training can only be done till 3 working days prior to the training start date. Post which you will not see the ‘Cancel enrollment’ button.

Will I receive a confirmation of my enrolment?

Yes. Post your successful enrollment to training, a confirmation message with your enrollment ID will be shown on the screen. Then you will also receive a confirmation email with all the details to your TASK registered email address.

Will I receive a confirmation of my enrolment cancellation?

Yes. A confirmation message of your enrollment cancelation will be shown on the following screen and in addition you will also receive a confirmation email to your registered email address, confirming your cancellation.

Can I enroll to training module that I have previously enrolled to?

No. Students can enroll to a training module only once. They will be allowed to enroll to the same course title/training module if they have cancelled the enrollment

How can I see my enrollment status as “complete"?

Post completing of training module, TASK training coordinator will mark the training as complete. The system then would check for users who have received attendance for all days and have submitted online feedback, all such students will find their enrollment status as “Complete”. You can verify the same on ‘My Status’ tab on the LMS

Why is my training is marked as ‘Not Completed’?

There are two criteria’s that system would check to mark a student’s training as completed or not completed and they are 1. Full attendance for all the scheduled days/session marked by the Instructor 2. Submission of feedback by the student If either of the above are not completed you will the page as ‘Not Completed’ and you will not be able to enroll yourself to the same training/course title again. Who or how will be the attendance marked? The assigned Instructor will mark attendance. They would do so by logging into the system and submitting the attendance that they have taken for each day of the training session.

A class that I am interested in taking is no longer in the LMS. What happened?

The class/event scheduled may no longer be accepting enrollments, or is being discontinued. You may either continue to look for new courses schedules in the future, or for more information contact TASK Delivery team at lms.support@tstask.com.

With which Web browser can I view the LMS?

PC users can access the TASK LMS through Google Chrome v30.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox v25.0 or higher, Internet Explorer v9.0 or higher. Mac users can access the LMS through the Safari v6.0 or higher Web browser.

How can I get LMS help?

Why didn't I receive an email notification regarding my enrollment request?

Your registered email address could be wrong or inactive. Please always verify the email that you are trying to access and the email address registered with TASK. To be on a safer side, always take a screenshot of the confirmation message that you get post your successful enrollment.

Will my TPO / HOD receive an email notification regarding my enrollment request?

No.

How do I know if I have an LMS account?

All active TASK registered students will automatically have an account on the LMS. Please use your TASK login credentials .

I have an LMS account, but why can't I log in?

Only active users of the TASK Portal can log into LMS. Please check if your account is active on TASK Portal.

A class that I am interested in taking is no longer in the LMS. What happened?
